My name is Beeki Gurung and I am from Nepal. I came to US in 2013 with my family and I have been fortunate enough to live comfortably with my all family here in Madison, WI. In early days of transitioning, learning new language and adapting to a new culture was pretty hard at times but with help from all the teachers I was able to over those obstacles. When I got into ITA in my freshman year, it opened so many possibilities and since then I have developed my Photography skills, Adobe Premiere skills and Illustration. My family has always respected education and many of  sisters were teachers back home. So, because of that I have been very driven for education and going to a college. I am very athletic and I have been playing soccer and badminton for a very long time. I am also a JV tennis player at Madison West for 2 years. My family religious to some extend and even though we are born into a Buddhist family, we have been practicing festivals and culture of Hindu
